TAPEUTIL Crack + With Serial Key
This is a simple tape drive utility. The only function of this application is to detect the presence or absence of a tape in a given drive, and optionally to eject it. It does not detect the length of the tape. It is expected that other applications and/or the command line utility TAPEATAIL will take care of the latter part. The application should eject the media if the user requests it. If the specified drive is not present, it will report so. The set of valid tape drive numbers is intended to be that of the IBM CICS TapeDrive format. I. Supported interfaces This application is intended to be used with IBM Data Storage Systems model 74. The interface for configuring the tape drive is set through the -e or -r options. The application will leave any current tape in the drive after it is retracted. II. Configuration If no drive is specified, the application will report what drive is installed on the system (if any), and that you can eject it. (There is a TODO in the v2.0.3 release to make the application be nice about the failing drive issue.) If a drive is given, it will apply any of the following configurations: – the standard DS74 enable/disable interface – the DS74_JE interface – the standard configuration interface – the multi-unit configuration interface – the DP74_TC interface These interfaces require that you specify either the tape formfactor, or the final functional unit (the FD) to use as an enable/disable interface. A tapeformfactor of “61DS50LF” or “61DS50LF-ON” will use the DS74 enable/disable interface A tapeformfactor of “3559” or “3559-ON” will use the DS74_JE interface A tapeformfactor of “3560” or “3560-ON” will use the standard configuration interface A tapeformfactor of “3561” or “3561-ON” will use the multi-unit configuration interface A tapeformfactor of “3562” or “3562-ON” will use the DP74_TC interface III. What’s New in the TAPEUTIL?
TAPEUTIL is a command-line utility used to manage the interface between computer and media. It can tell if a tape has been inserted, eject the tape, and retension the tape if it is supported. The tape is detected when a drive is opened or re-opened. If the -r (retension) option is specified, tape retensioning is attempted. For details, see the Tape Utilities HOW-TO: “” for Unix. It is a trivial program that could serve as the basis for a device driver or similar application. Installation and Usage TAPEUTIL is a command line program, so it can be run from a shell in a terminal window, or it can be launched from the shell by typing the program name (without the.exe extension) followed by a command-line option. Try: C:\> TAPEUTIL -h TAPEUTIL Usage: TapeUtil [-q] drive_number TapeUtil [-e] drive_number TapeUtil [-r] drive_number TapeUtil [-q] [-e] [-r] drive_number To uninstall, use: Remove-Item “C:\Program Files\TapeUtil” C:\> TAPEUTIL -h TAPEUTIL Copyright © 1995-2005 by Mark Byers and Doug McIlroy TAPEUTIL Version 1.2/95-12-07.
